We found The Breadbasket and Bakery when searching to try a new place for breakfast. We are so glad we stopped in to check it out. This place is a gem for sure! They have breakfast and lunch sandwiches, homemade breads, great little deli, farm fresh eggs, and other items. All of the deli meats and cheeses are gluten free for those who need to follow a gluten free diet. Their homemade donuts are hands down the best I have ever had!! Our first visit they had only one Boston Creme donut, so the young lady offered to make us two fresh ones. WOW, they were so amazingly good! Their donuts are huge so we probably could have split one! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We have been back twice and will be again. We still need to try their ice cream!! 🍦

This place has SERIOUSLY THE BEST BOSTON CREAM DONUTS!.... i am not exaggerating. They are nothing compared to the dunkin donuts or other store donuts. First of all the dough is all natural ingredients and it tastes SO GOOD. When you bite into it it gently deflates and then springs back into its fluffy rich shape. As you chew it in your mouth it breaks down into many soft peices and fills your entire mouth with the aroma of fresh sweet bread. After swallowing it you will feel a satisfactory feeling in your stomach as it starts to digest the natural ingredients. I write in such detail because i am very disappointed at the dunkin donuts boston cream. When you bite into it, the donut bread just becomes a sad flat lump (never springs) back. As you chew it it doesnt break up into tiny pieces but actually takes the form of a chewy slimy gumlike paste (like raw dough) . And after swallowing it you feel the donut like a hard lump in your stomach that takes a long time to digest. Go and try out their boston cream donut and share your experience. The only downside to their donut is, they only serve the boston cream donuts on Saturdays. But once a week is good because the size of the donut is ENORMOUS. Eating that size donuts everyday would definitely show on the scale..lol...
